.mobi Launched

The next domain race begins today with the new “.mobi” TLD being made available to Trademark Holders from the mobile industry, so they have a chance to register their trademarks as .mobi before the real land rush begins on the 28th August.

The idea of “.mobi” is that websites offering services related to the mobile phone industry will switch to it. Hopefully all operators and service providers will make the switch increasing the value and hype of the new TLD.

My advice is starting to build a list of potential domains now, ready for the rush. Big money could be made here!
