Leaving Nexus

I am officially announcing to the world that I am leaving Nexus Open Software Ltd at the end of January. This is a difficult post to write I have a lot to say about it all.

The web development team where I have been working for the last year and a halve, since finishing college is like a small family, I have been nurtured from a Junior Web developer to the Internet Marketing crazed Web Developer I am today.

I have overcome some very large hurdles both in my job and personal life. I am extremely grateful to the web development team and especially to my boss Jon Barlow who I love to pieces. A few things I have been helped with/through:

  • Valve Replacement Surgery
  • Adwords Qualified Professional Status
  • Learning jQuery.. (still going)
  • Moving out
  • Continuing to practice PHP
  • SEO

Whilst being at Nexus I’ve built so many Websites, a list of just few can be seen on my portfolio page. As well as helping develop the Nexus CMS, by making it more SEO friendly. The whole system has come on leaps and bounds since I started. Its truly a remarkable CMS for Rapid Construction of websites.

During the last year we’ve had two awesome parties celebrating the 10th anniversary of the company and Christmas. Both of which have ended up in me being in a rather bad state.

In summary it has been a pleasure working with you all and I hope you make an effort to keep in touch.

The Future

Your probably wondering what I’m going to do now, well I’m now moving to Yorkshire to work at Bronco with the famous SEO – DaveN and his team. I am extremely excited and grateful for the opportunity.
