The launch of inlinks.com has had Internet Marketers, SEO’s and Search Engine employees (Matt Cutts) debating battling from all sides. Its been really interesting reading all the feedback and points of view from all the biggest names in the industry.
My thought is that Google is becoming a bit too big for there boots. Matt Cutts claims (on Shoemoney’s blog) that Google have technology that can detect paid links, regardless of whether they are nofollowed or not. If this is the case then there should be no issue because we’re not going to influence the algorithm. Does anyone else smell bullshit?
I wouldn’t normally link off to loads of sites but this makes for some interesting reading..

InLinks is a clone of LinkXL. One thing is sure, Google is definitely afraid of links in content. A month or so after we went live Dazzlin Donna did this post: http://www.seo-scoop.com/2007/05/17/pssst-advertising-within-content/
Notice who the first comment is by… Kind of a “I’m watching post”.
