Cameron Gaffe or did he just let something slip?

I noticed the BBC has called Cameron dicussing Irans apparent nuclear weapons a gaffe.

My immediate thinking is that this is some kind of cover up, put on by the publicly paid BBC (no doubt they were the first to release it as a Gaffe). They probably do have nuclear weapons, Cameron is probably very aware of them but we weren’t suppose to know.
