Yesterday I spent the Night at the Hilton Hotel in Bristol, to be honest I wasn’t impressed one bit with the service I received at any point. Being a Hilton Hotel, I had high expectations anyway. In reality the service I actually received was below average for everything. Upon checking in I offered to pay upfront and was told I could pay on departure in the morning, only 5 minutes later to be told basically because I was younger than their usual customers I had to pay upfront. Nice to feel trusted isn’t it?

At the restaurant we (me and David) had little in the way of service. After being seated, given a glass of water and being told the Carvery was the only option at 8:30pm (what the f*ck), we went up and got our food. We weren’t offered a drink for the entire meal. After finishing are plates were cleared ..still no service. So I actually had to go up to the counter and tell them what we’d eaten. Honest aren’t I? Could have easily screamed.

Other minor things that annoyed the hell out of me included:

  • Asking three times for my Parking ticket to be put on the bill.

  • The bed was so uncomfortable

  • Being made to feel so uncomfortable on check-in.

In short - I won’t be staying at that Hotel again and would be relluctant to even stay at a Hilton Hotel if that one is anything to go by.
